NVIDIA Field Diagnostic baseline, NVSMI inventory dump, serial & runtime-hour verification, and physical inspection for board damage, corrosion or prior repair work.

Capacitor and inductor screening, HBM placement verification, PCIe trace validation, and NVLink connector inspection with reseating where required.
HBM & ECC testing
HBM stress testing at elevated clocks, full-address memory pattern reads/writes, and ECC error reporting via NVSMI — marginal modules are rejected, not shipped.
24–72h synthetic load
Full-power stress under synthetic compute load for 24–72 hours, thermal cycling to expose marginal components, and fan-curve verification under load.
Firmware & security
Latest supported firmware/VBIOS applied, field-config and security revocations cleared, unit re-flagged to recertified operational state with a fresh inventory record.
